The Community Service Committee encourages and supports all programs and services that improve the quality of life in the our community. Units closely examine the needs of their local community and complete programs either on their own initiative or in cooperation with The American Legion or other organizations that make their community a better place to live. Some of those programs include:

Make a Difference Day
Youth Service to America
Habitat for Humanity
Blood Donor Program
Organ/Tissue Donor Program
Cancer Awareness
Random Acts of Kindness

Community Service requires dedication and commitment from all of our members.  The Units/Juniors from the Department of Washington can make a difference!!
