Associate with The American Legion and support the work of the world's largest veteran's organization.

Uphold the law of the land and defend the principles of democracy.

X-plain and guard the basic freedoms of religion and expression.

Instill a sense of obligation to the community, state and nation.

Leaders in education for young people.

Implement numerous community efforts and programs to assist families and children across the nation.

Assist our nation's veterans through legislation, funding and volunteerism.

Raise awareness of patriotism and devotion to country.

You can join the American Legion Auxiliary

A woman who is eligible for membership in The American Legion.

      The mother, wife, daughter, sister, granddaughter, great grand-daughter, or grandmother of members of The American Legion, and deceased Veterans who served in the United States Armed Forces during the listed war periods. Step-relatives are also eligible.

World War I (April 6, 1917 to November 11, 1918)

World War II (December 7, 1941 to December 31, 1946)

Korean War (June 25, 1950 to January 31, 1955)

Vietnam War (February 28, 1961 to May 7, 1975)

Lebanon/Grenada (August 24, 1982 to July 31, 1990)

Panama (December 20, 1989 to January 31, 1990)
